Biography
Eleanor co-founded Hale & Ward in 1988 after a decade as a litigator at a large Manhattan firm. She has tried more than ninety cases to verdict, including some of the largest commercial jury verdicts in the Southern District.
Clients value her candour as much as her advocacy. She is known for telling a client early when a case should settle — and for being immovable when it should not.
Representative matters
- $14.2M jury verdict for a manufacturer in a supply-agreement dispute
- Defence verdict for a private bank in a $60M fraud claim
- Successful appeal reversing a $9M judgment against a family business
Recognition
